A 65-year-old politically accused who suffers from various diseases, is deprived of medical treatment due to the obstruction of the Evin prison authorities. Despite the passage of more than eight months since his arrest, he is still in detention and in an indefinite manner.

On Monday, Tir 4th 1403 (24th June 2024) was unexpectedly summoned to the court without prior appointment.
At the end of Ordibehesht 1403 (second half of May 2024) he was investigated by the fifth investigation branch of Tehran's General and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office for accusations such as "baghi” (insurrection). A charge that can lead to heavy sentences including execution.
A politically accused, is still in custody and in an indecisive status, despite the passage of more than fifty days since his arrest. The lack of news about Mr. Montazer's condition has increased his family's worries.
