ریبوار مارابی در 19 دی ماه 1404 توسط نیروهای امنیتی در تهران بازداشت و به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که او از زمان بازداشت تاکنون به وکیل منتخب و ملاقات با خانواده دسترسی نداشته است.
در اسفند ۱۴۰۴ با تودیع وثیقه به صورت موقت از زندان تهران بزرگ آزاد شد.

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, a resident of Kamyaran (Kamiran) was summoned and, after appearing for the execution of sentences at one of the enforcement branches in Tehran, was arrested and transferred to the Greater Tehran Prison.
The initial sentence of 10 years of imprisonment, issued by Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court under the presidency of Judge Mohammadreza Amouzad for the fabricated charge of "collaboration with Israel," was reduced on appeal to 6 years of imprisonment and 4 years of suspended imprisonment.
Rebwar Marabi was arrested by security forces in Tehran on 9 January 2026 and transferred to Greater Tehran Prison. Reports indicate that since his arrest, he has not had access to his chosen lawyer or family visits. In March 2026, he was temporarily released from Greater Tehran Prison on bail.
