On the evening of 23 July 2025, two Kurdish citizens named Arman Biglari and Pejman Badri, from Helilan, passed away following a shooting by law enforcement officers at close range. It has been reported that the two individuals left the scene on a motorcycle after a verbal altercation in Tohid Park and were pursued and directly shot by a police patrol. It was also stated that there were no weapons or armed confrontation involved, and the shooting occurred from behind without warning.
The Ilam Provincial Police Command issued a statement claiming that the two individuals were armed and were killed during an altercation with citizens and subsequently in an exchange of fire with officers. This claim has been rejected by the families, who have described it as a fabricated scenario to justify an extrajudicial killing.
The bodies of the victims were handed over to their families on 24 July 2025, and the burial ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday in their hometown.
در شامگاه چهارشنبه ۱ مرداد ۱۴۰۴، دو شهروند کرد به نام های آرمان بیگلری و پژمان بدری، اهل هلیلان، در پی تیراندازی نیروهای انتظامی از فاصله نزدیک، جان باختند. گزارش شده است که این دو نفر پس از یک درگیری لفظی در پارک توحید، محل را با موتورسیکلت ترک کردند و در مسیر توسط گشت انتظامی مورد تعقیب و شلیک مستقیم قرار گرفتند. همچنین اعلام شده که هیچ گونه سلاح یا درگیری مسلحانه ای در کار نبوده و تیراندازی از پشت و بدون هشدار صورت گرفته است.
فرماندهی انتظامی استان ایلام در بیانیه ای اعلام کرده که این دو نفر مسلح بوده و در جریان درگیری با شهروندان و سپس در تبادل آتش با ماموران کشته شده اند. این ادعا از سوی خانواده ها رد شده و به عنوان سناریوسازی برای توجیه یک قتل فراقانونی دانسته شده است.
پیکر قربانیان در روز پنجشنبه ۲ مرداد ۱۴۰۴ به خانواده ها تحویل داده شد و مراسم خاکسپاری قرار است در روز جمعه در زادگاهشان برگزار شود.
