On the evening of Wednesday, July 23, 2025 (1 Mordad 1404), two Kurdish citizens, Arman Biglari and Pejman Badri, both from Helilan, died after being shot at close range by law-enforcement forces.
According to an informed source close to the families, the two young men left Tawhid Park on a motorcycle following a verbal altercation. While they were on their way, they were pursued by a law-enforcement patrol and subjected to direct gunfire.
The source also stated that there were no weapons or armed confrontation involved, and that the shooting was carried out from behind and without warning.
According to information received by Hana, the Ilam Provincial Law Enforcement Command stated in a communiqué that the two men were armed and were killed during an altercation with civilians and subsequently in an exchange of fire with officers.
According to an informed source, the families have described this claim as “completely fabricated” and characterized it as an attempt to construct a narrative to justify an extrajudicial killing.
It should be noted that the victims’ bodies were handed over to their families on Thursday, July 24, 2025 (2 Mordad 1404), and their funeral is scheduled to take place on Friday in their hometown.

به گفته یک منبع مطلع نزدیک به خانواده ها، این دو جوان پس از یک درگیری لفظی در پارک توحید، محل را با موتورسیکلت ترک کردند که در مسیر توسط گشت انتظامی مورد تعقیب و شلیک مستقیم گلوله قرار گرفتند.
همچنین این منبع افزود که، هیچ گونه سلاح یا درگیری مسلحانه ای در کار نبوده و تیراندازی از پشت و بدون هشدار صورت گرفته است.
بە اطلاع منابع هانا: فرماندهی انتظامی استان ایلام، در بیانیه ای اعلام کردە که این دو نفر مسلح بوده و در جریان درگیری با شهروندان و سپس در تبادل آتش با ماموران کشته شده اند.
بە اطلاع یک منبع مطلع؛ این ادعا از سوی خانواده ها «کاملا ساختگی» خوانده شده و آن را سناریوسازی برای توجیه یک قتل فراقانونی دانسته اند.
لازم بە ذکر است، پیکر قربانیان روز پنجشنبه ۲ مرداد ماە ١٤٠٤، به خانواده ها تحویل داده شد و مراسم خاکسپاری قرار است روز جمعه در زادگاه شان برگزار شود.
