Mohammad Javad Tarabian, born in 2004 in Mashhad, was in Vakilabad on January 9th.
We were within a hundred meters of Vakilabad, peacefully chanting without causing any disturbance or damage, when suddenly shots were fired from the pedestrian overpass, and Mohammad Javad was hit in the throat that same night.
Unfortunately, his story remained largely unknown. His family was in such distress that they did not pursue media coverage. His father was a war veteran, and his brother is disabled. After Mohammad Javad's death, his family fell apart even more. Five days later, his body was handed over to his younger brother and mother at Behesht Reza.
He was shot right in front of me and my husband. Despite giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and performing CPR, it was to no avail, and he passed away. His friends were scared and ran away.
Mohammad Javad lived on Rahmaniyeh Boulevard and was shot in Vakilabad.
