On December 19 2023 Seyyed Hadi Kasaei Zadeh a journalist former political prisoner director of the monthly "Maidan Azadi" and author of the book "Professional Reporter" residing in Tehran was arrested following a summons to the investigation branch at the Ghadousi Court in Tehran and the formal announcement of charges.
A source close to the journalists family stated that the arrest of Seyyed Hadi Kasaei Zadeh followed his summons to the investigation branch at the Shahid Ghadousi Court in Tehran and the formal announcement of charges. This case was initiated with a complaint from the Judiciarys Information Protection against Mr. Kasaei Zadeh. Additionally there is another case against this journalist with complaints from the Central Bank and Bank Sarmayeh which is currently open in the Government Employees Enforcement Branch and an arrest warrant has been issued in that case as well.
Earlier in late October 2023 due to his continued media activities this journalist and media activist was summoned to Branch 9 of the Investigation Office at the Culture and Media Court in Tehran following a complaint by the Prisons and Security Measures Organization of the country.
It is noteworthy that Hadi Kasaei Zadeh had faced complaints from various organizations in midDecember 2022 following his exposé on corruption among officials in the municipality governors office and law enforcement. After being summoned to the investigation branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutors Office in Rey County he was charged with various offenses including disseminating false computerbased information to harm others and disturb public opinion against the governors office the Hamidabad village council represented by Mr. Rouhollah Khani the municipality the Qaleh Now district office the traffic police represented by Mr. Ghasem Dashti Ghareh Tapeh and insulting the residents and council members of Talebabad village represented by Mr. Ali Majidi.
In relation to this case on July 7 2021 he was arrested by security forces and after being transferred to a detention center and undergoing interrogation and investigation he was released on July 10 2021 after posting bail.

سه شنبه ۲۸ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲ سیدهادی کسایی زاده روزنامه نگار زندانی سیاسی پیشین مدیرمسئول ماهنامه میدان آزادی و نویسنده کتاب خبرنگار حرفه ای ساکن تهران در پی احضار به شعبه بازپرسی در دادسرای قدوسی تهران و تفهیم اتهام بازداشت شد.
به نقل از یک فرد نزدیک به خانواده این روزنامه نگار در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”بازداشت سیدهای کسایی زاده در پی احضار او به شعبه بازپرسی در دادسرای شهیدقدوسی تهران و تفهیم اتهام وی صورت گرفته و این پرونده با شکایت حفاظت اطلاعات قوه قضائیه بر عیله آقای کسایی زاده تشکیل شده ولی پرونده دیگری هم بر علیه این روزنامه نگار با شکایت باینک مرکزی و بانک سرمایه در شعبه اجرای احکام کارکنان دولت مفتوج است و حکم بازداشت وی در آن پرونده هم صادر شده است.”
این روزنامه نگار و فعال رسانه ای در پی تداوم فعالیتهای رسانه ای خود از بابت پرونده ای دیگر اوایل آبان ماه ۱۴۰۲ با شکایت سازمان زندانها و اقدامات تامینی کشور به شعبه ۹ بازپرسی در دادسرای فرهنگ و رسانه تهران احضار شده بود.
لازم به اشاره است هادی کسایی زاده پیشتر هم اواسط آذر ماه ۱۴۰۱ در پی افشاگری از فساد مدیران در شهرداری فرمانداری و نیروی انتظامی با شکایت این ارگانها مواجه و پس از احضار به شعبه بازپرسی دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان ری با عناوین حقوقی نشر اکاذیب رایانه ای به قصد اضرار به غیر و تشویش اذهان عمومی نسبت به فرمانداری نشر اکاذیب رایانه ای به قصد اضرار به غیر و تشویش اذهان عمومی نسبت به دهیاری حمید آباد با نمایندگی آقای روح الله خانی نشر اکاذیب رایانه ای به قصد اضرار به غیر و تشویش اذهان عمومی نسبت به شهرداری نشر اکاذیب رایانه ای به قصد اضرار به غیر و تشویش اذهان عمومی نسبت به بخشداری قلعه نو نشر اکاذیب رایانه ای به قصد اضرار به غیر و تشویش اذهان عمومی نسبت به پلیس راهنمایی و رانندگی ناجا با نمایندگی آقای قاسم دشتی قره تپه و توهین نسبت به اهالی روستا و اعضای شورا و دهیاری طالب آباد با نمایندگی آقای علی مجیدی تفهیم اتهام شده بود.
این فعال رسانه ای از بابت این پرونده در تاریخ ۱۶ تیرماه ۱۴۰۰ توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه و طی مراحل بازجوئی و بازپرسی در تاریخ ۱۹ تیرماه ۱۴۰۰ با تودیع قرار وثیقه آزاد شد.
