Abdollah Hamzeh was arrested in Saqqez by security forces and transferred to the Security Police detention centre. He was then moved to the central detention facility of a security organisation in Sanandaj for interrogation. It has been reported that this individual was released on bail approximately one month after his arrest. On 2 October 2023, the judge of the first branch of the Saqqez Revolutionary Court sentenced Abdollah Hamzeh, born in 1976 and a resident of Saqqez, to imprisonment.
