دو روز پس از ناپدیدشدن ابراهیم شهبازیان پیکر او در کهریزک پیدا شد و با پرداخت ۳۰۰ میلیون تومان به خانواده او تحویل و تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی به خاک سپرده شد. نیروهای حکومتی با منتشرکردن مصاحبه ای اجباری از همسر این جانباخته سعی در نسبت دادن قتل او به موساد و معرفی وی بعنوان نیروی حکومتی داشته اند.

On Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (January 8, 2026), a Kurdish citizen from Qorveh County residing in Tehran, was killed during public protests in Tehran by a direct gunshot to the head fired by government suppressive forces. After his death, his body was mutilated with a cold weapon.
Two days after Ebrahim Shahbazians disappearance his body was found in Kahrizak and handed over to his family after a payment of 300 million tomans and he was buried under tight security measures.
Government forces by releasing a coerced interview with the spouse of the deceased attempted to attribute his killing to Mossad and portray him as a government agent.
