ماریا خانجانی یک شهروند بهائی ساکن تهران و فرزند جمال الدین خانجانی (از مدیران سابق جامعه بهائی ایران) است. او در مرداد ۱۴۰۲ توسط نیروهای امنیتی در تهران بازداشت و به زندان اوین منتقل شد و پس از گذشت حدود یک ماه، در شهریور همان سال با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد.
