Hani Ganji, was shot from close range from behind with a live bullet in the Tehranpars and Estakhr Street area on the evening of 8 January 2026. He passed away due to severe bleeding after being transferred to Alghadir Hospital.
After hours of uncertainty and security pressure, Hani's family was able to retrieve his body only by providing a commitment. According to reports, after receiving the body, the family moved it to a workshop in Pardis Boumehen. However, the following day, no doctor was willing to issue a death certificate under distressing circumstances.
The family was compelled to first take the body to the Pardis police station and then transfer it to Kahrizak with an official letter. Their ordeal did not end there; when they went to Behesht Zahra for the funeral and burial, they discovered that the wrong body had been given to them.
After hours of confusion and follow-up, they were finally able to retrieve Hani Ganji's body in the final hours of the same day and proceed with the burial.
هانی گنجی، ۴۹ شامگاه ۱۸ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در محدوده تهرانپارس و خیابان استخر، از فاصله نزدیک و از پشت سر هدف شلیک گلوله جنگی قرار گرفت. او پس از انتقال به بیمارستان الغدیر، بر اثر شدت خونریزی جان باخت؛
خانواده هانی، پس از ساعت ها بی خبری و فشار امنیتی، تنها با دادن تعهد موفق به تحویل پیکر او شدند. بنا بر روایت های رسیده، پس از دریافت پیکر، خانواده آن را به کارگاهی در پردیس بومهن منتقل کردند؛ اما روز بعد، در شرایطی دردناک، هیچ پزشکی حاضر به صدور گواهی فوت نشد.
خانواده ناچار شدند پیکر را ابتدا به کلانتری پردیس و سپس با نامه رسمی به کهریزک منتقل کنند. اما رنج آنان به همین جا ختم نشد؛ هنگامی که برای تشییع و دفن در بهشت زهرا مراجعه کردند، متوجه شدند پیکر اشتباهی به آنان تحویل داده شده است.
آن ها پس از ساعت ها سرگردانی و پیگیری، سرانجام در آخرین ساعات همان روز توانستند پیکر هانی گنجی را تحویل بگیرند و به خاک بسپارند.
