Farzaneh Zilabi, a lawyer, has been sentenced by Branch 4 of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court to one year and six months in prison. According to a recent ruling by the court, she was sentenced to one year for "propaganda against the regime" and six months for "insulting the leadership." It has been reported that Farzaneh Zilabi was not present at the court, but her defence statement was submitted, and one of her lawyers attended the session. The hearing for these charges took place on 17 April.
Additionally, Farzaneh Zilabi has been summoned to Branch 113 of the Ahvaz Criminal Court on charges of "spreading falsehoods" in a separate case.
Previously, on 14 February 2023, a hearing regarding Farzaneh Zilabi's charges was held at the Ahvaz Prosecutor's Office, where she defended herself. She was denied the right to have a chosen lawyer during this session and was temporarily released on bail until the end of the legal proceedings. This lawyer has represented the workers of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Complex and many recent detainees and prisoners. Furthermore, she has a history of convictions related to her activities.
فرزانه زیلابی، وکیل دادگستری، توسط شعبه چهارم دادگاه انقلاب اهواز به یک سال و شش ماه حبس محکوم شد. بر اساس حکمی که اخیراً توسط این دادگاه صادر شده، وی به اتهام "فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام" به یک سال حبس و به اتهام "توهین به رهبری" به شش ماه حبس محکوم شده است. گزارش شده است که فرزانه زیلابی در این دادگاه حضور نداشته اما لایحه دفاعیه او پیوست شده بود و یکی از وکلای وی نیز در جلسه دادگاه حضور داشته است. جلسه رسیدگی به اتهامات این وکیل دادگستری در روز بیست و هشتم فروردین ماه برگزار شده بود.
همچنین، فرزانه زیلابی به دلیل پرونده دیگری با اتهام "نشر اکاذیب" به شعبه ۱۱۳ دادگاه کیفری در اهواز فراخوانده شده است.
پیشتر در تاریخ ۲۵ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۱، جلسه رسیدگی به اتهامات فرزانه زیلابی در دادسرای اهواز برگزار شده بود و وی به دفاع از خود پرداخته است. او از حق داشتن وکیل انتخابی در این جلسه محروم بوده و پس از اتمام جلسه با تودیع قرار کفالت، به صورت موقت و تا پایان مراحل دادرسی آزاد شده است. این وکیل دادگستری تاکنون وکالت پرونده کارگران نیشکر هفت تپه و بسیاری از پرونده های زندانیان و بازداشت شدگان اخیر را بر عهده داشته است. علاوه بر این، پیشتر نیز به واسطه فعالیت های خود سابقه محکومیت دارد.
