Shayan Vaisi was detained by government forces during the protests in December and Sajad Vaisi was arrested on 3 Esfand 1404 (22 February 2026) while on his way to his wife's family home on the road from Darreh-Drizh to Sarpol-e Zahab. Shayan Vaisi was also among those detained during the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi movement in Kermanshah.
The legal cases of Sajad Vaisi and Shayan Vaisi, with the serious charge of "moharebeh," have been referred to the Revolutionary Court of Kermanshah.
Sajad Vaisi is the younger brother of Meysam Vaisi and Mojtaba Vaisi, two well-known Yarsan cultural activists. They were killed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on 7 Khordad 1405 during an armed raid and shooting at their hidden shelter in the village of Qaleh Kohosh, Dalahu.
شایان ویسی در جریان اعتراضات دی ماه و سجاد ویسی نیز روز یک شنبه ۳ اسفند ۱۴۰۴ (۲۲ فوریه ۲۰۲۶) در مسیر دره دریژ به سرپل ذهاب و زمانیکه در حال رفتن به منزل خانوادگی همسرش بود، توسط نیروهای حکومتی بازداشت شده بود. شایان ویسی نیز از بازداشت شدگان جنبش ژن ژیان ئازادی در کرمانشاه بودە است.
پرونده قضایی سجاد ویسی و شایان ویسی با اتهام سنگین «محاربه» به دادگاه انقلاب کرمانشاه ارجاع دادە شده است.
سجاد ویسی، برادر کوچکتر میثم ویسی و مجتبی ویسی است؛ دو فعال فرهنگی سرشناس یارسان که بامداد روز پنج شنبه ۷ خرداد ۱۴۰۵، در جریان یورش مسلحانه و به رگبار بستن پناهگاه مخفیانه شان در روستای «قلعه کهوش» دالاهو، توسط نیروهای سپاه پاسداران کشته شدند.
