محمدرسول جعفری، دانشجوی کُرد، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی اسفراین استان خراسان شمالی با تیراندازی نیروهای نظامی امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی مجروح شد. وی به بیمارستان خمینی این شهر منتقل گردید، اما روز بعد به دلیل شدت جراحات جان باخت.

Shot to death in Esfarayen
Mohammad Rasoul Jafari, a Kurdish student, was injured on 7 January 2026 during public protests in Esfarayen, North Khorasan Province, due to gunfire from security forces of the Islamic Republic. He was transferred to Khomeini Hospital in the city, but died the following day due to the severity of his injuries.
