Ali Molaei, a young man from Izeh, was killed by direct gunfire from government forces on November 16, 2022. He was killed exactly one day after his engagement ceremony.
On the day of the incident, Ali was in the car with his new bride, on the same day that Kian Pirfalak was in the car with his parents. Regime forces opened fire on the car.
Eyewitnesses say that both Ali and his new bride were injured and were taken to Golestan Hospital in Ahvaz. The newlywed groom was conscious, but his family was not allowed to speak with the doctor. An hour later, they were told that their son had been transferred to the morgue.
After Ali's death, a flag of the Islamic Republic was placed on his coffin to add insult to his family's injury. However, the people tore the flag while chanting "Dishonorable, dishonorable" and did not allow Khamenei's agents to control the burial ceremony.

در روز حادثه علی به همراه نوعروسش در ماشین بودند، در همان روزی که کیان پیرفلک با پدر و مادرش در ماشین بودند. نیروهای رژیم ماشین را به گلوله بستند.
شاهدان عینی می گویند علی و نوعروسش هر دو زخمی شدند و آنها را به بیمارستان گلستان اهواز منتقل کردند، تازه داماد به هوش بود اما اجازه نمی دادند خانواده اش با دکتر صحبت کنند و ساعتی بعد به خانواده اش می گویند پسرتان به سردخانه منتقل شده است.
بعد از کشتن علی روی تابوت او پرچم جمهوری اسلامی گذاشتند که نمک بر زخم خانواده اش بپاشند. اما مردم با شعار «بی شرف، بی شرف» پرچم را پاره کردند و اجازه ندادند آتش به اختیاران خامنه ای، مراسم خاکسپاری را کنترل کنند.
