Iman Behdari a resident of Khomein was killed by direct gunfire from government forces during public protests in the city of Arak on the evening of Friday January 8. Iman Behdaris body was buried in his hometown of Khomein on Sunday January 10 2026.
The late Iman Behdari was a football coach and a payment of 600 million was demanded for the release of his body with instructions to say he was a Basij member. His funeral in Khomein was attended by a large crowd and held under heavy security.
