The body of Ma'soumeh Ali Abadi was handed over to her family after a payment was made. Her body was buried under heavy security in her hometown in the Dodangeh area of Sari.
She was killed by gunfire during an attack on a public demonstration in Sari. It has been reported that her death certificate, issued by Shafa Hospital, stated the cause of death as a gunshot wound. Her body was delivered to her family on 12 January and was buried in the cemetery of Ali Abad-e Fereym village. She was also known as Fa'ezeh.
