On 9 January, around 7 PM, Omid Teimouri Rad, along with his son Armin and his wife, encountered protests while returning home in the Fardis area. It was reported that Armin went into the crowd, followed by his father to ensure his safety.
Minutes later, security forces fired at the crowd. The bullets hit Armin, his mother, and his father, causing them to fall to the ground. Armin's mother attempted to protect her son. After a few minutes, officers approached them and reportedly assaulted them with batons and kicks. It was also mentioned that the officers took their personal belongings.
During this time, Amir Teimouri Rad, Omid's brother and Armin's uncle, arrived at the scene. Armin's mother asked him to take her son to a clinic. Amir placed Armin in the car and drove away, but officers fired at the vehicle, resulting in Armin's death inside the car and injuring Amir.
It was reported that Omid Teimouri Rad and his wife were taken to the hospital by the public, where they were separated and admitted. After several hours, Omid's wife was informed that Armin, Omid, and Amir had passed away. Omid and Amir were buried on 12 January, and Armin on 13 January, in the village of Atashgah, north of Karaj.

در این میان، امیر تیموری راد، برادر امید و عموی آرمین، به محل رسید و مادر آرمین از او خواست که پسرش را به درمانگاه برساند. امیر آرمین را به داخل ماشین گذاشت و حرکت کرد، اما ماموران به ماشین او شلیک کردند و آرمین در ماشین کشته شد و امیر نیز مجروح شد.
گزارش شده است که مردم امید تیموری راد و همسرش را به بیمارستان منتقل کردند و آنها را از هم جدا کردند و بستری شدند. بعد از چند ساعت، به همسر امید اطلاع داده شد که آرمین، امید و امیر جان باخته اند. امید و امیر در تاریخ 22 دی و آرمین در 23 دی در روستای آتشگاه در شمال کرج به خاک سپرده شدند.
