On 9 January , Omid Teymouri Rad, along with his son Armin and his wife, encountered protests near the Ferdows Canal while returning home. It was reported that Armin entered the crowd, and his father followed to ensure his son's safety.
Minutes later, security forces opened fire on the crowd. Bullets struck Armin and his parents, causing them to fall to the ground. Armin's mother attempted to shield her son from further gunfire by placing her body over him. After a few minutes, security forces approached and reportedly assaulted them with batons and kicks. It was also reported that the officers confiscated Armin's belongings and documents under threat and violence.
During this time, Amir Teymouri Rad, Omid's brother and Armin's uncle, arrived at the scene. Armin's mother requested him to take her son to a clinic. Amir placed Armin in a car and drove away, but officers fired at the vehicle, resulting in Armin's death inside the car and injuring Amir.
It was reported that Omid Teymouri Rad and his wife were transported to a hospital by bystanders. At the hospital, they were separated and both were admitted. A few hours later, Omid's wife was informed that Armin, Omid, and Amir had passed away.
Omid and Amir were buried on 12 January , and Armin on 13 January , in the village of Atashgah, north of Karaj.

در این میان، امیر تیموری راد، برادر امید و عموی آرمین، به محل رسید و مادر آرمین از او خواست تا پسرش را به درمانگاه برساند. امیر آرمین را به داخل ماشین گذاشت و حرکت کرد، اما ماموران به ماشین او تیراندازی کردند و آرمین در ماشین کشته شد و امیر نیز تیر خورد.
گزارش شده است که مردم امید تیموری راد و همسرش را به بیمارستان منتقل کردند. در بیمارستان، آنها را از هم جدا کردند و هر دو بستری شدند. پس از چند ساعت، به همسر امید اطلاع داده شد که آرمین، امید و امیر جان باخته اند.
امید و امیر در تاریخ 22 دی و آرمین در 23 دی در روستای آتشگاه در شمال کرج به خاک سپرده شدند.
