Pezhman Shahpiri, from Izeh, was killed by live gunfire from the Islamic Republic regime’s security forces near the Red Crescent building in Izeh on 8 January 2026.
After his killing, the Islamic Republic pressured Pezhman Shahpiri’s family to declare the incident a “terrorist attack” and to label him a “martyr.
Pezhman Shahpari, an oil change shop owner from Izeh, was killed by direct gunfire from government forces during public protests on 8 January 2026. Authorities transferred his body to Ahvaz and required his father and family to commit to silence upon its release.
