Suzan Gol Babapour resided in Canada after immigrating. She graduated in chemical engineering from the University of Tehran and worked as a senior expert at the Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration Organization.
Ms. Gol Babapour was active in various sports and maintained her involvement in this area in Canada. Her social media page included numerous photos showcasing her travels and adventures, such as diving in the ocean, visiting Cuba, and taking long walks.
Three years prior, she entered into marriage. She was a passenger on Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752. On 8 January 2020, that was shot down shortly after takeoff by air defence missiles fired by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, killing all her and others on board.
سوزان گل باباپور متولد سال ۱۳۴۹ و مقیم کانادا دانش آموخته رشته مهندسی شیمی دانشگاه تهران و از کارشناسان ارشد سابق آزمایشگاه سازمان زمین شناسی و اکتشافات معدنی بود.
خانم سوزان گل باباپور در بسیاری از رشته های ورزشی نیز فعال بود و پس از مهاجرت به کانادا نیز در همین زمینه به فعالیت مشغول شد. سه سال از ازدواجش میگذشت.
او در راه برگشت به کانادا در پرواز شماره PS752 خطوط هوایی بین المللی اوکراین بود. در۱۸ دی ۱۳۹۸، این هواپیما اندکی پس از برخاستن توسط موشک های پدافند هوایی که توسط سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی شلیک شد سرنگون گردید و او کشته شد.
