On 11 May 2026, Majid Hamli was killed along with three other Baloch citizens in Iranshahr after their vehicle came under gunfire by intelligence agency forces. During the shooting, the vehicle carrying these individuals caught fire, and their bodies were burned in the flames. According to reports, after the vehicle stopped and the fire broke out, the assailants reportedly fired again at the partially burned bodies to ensure their deaths.
