Jafar Hasani, a poet and political activist from Qazvin, has been sentenced to a total of eight years in prison by the Revolutionary Court of the city. Reports indicate that the court sentenced him to five years for "inciting people to kill each other with the intent to disrupt national security," two years for "insulting the leadership," and one year for "propaganda against the system." According to laws regarding multiple offences, only the most severe sentence, which is five years of imprisonment, will be enforced.
Additionally, the court imposed supplementary punishments, including a two-year travel ban, six months of unpaid community service at the Qazvin municipality, and the confiscation of his mobile phone and SIM card for the benefit of the government.
Jafar Hasani was among those arrested during the protests in December 2025 in Qazvin. The issued verdict is preliminary and can be appealed within 20 days of notification.

جعفر حسنی، شاعر و فعال سیاسی ساکن قزوین، از سوی دادگاه انقلاب این شهر مجموعاً به ۸ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است.
بر اساس گزارش های منتشرشده، دادگاه وی را بابت اتهام «اغوای مردم به کشت و کشتار یکدیگر به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور» به ۵ سال حبس، به اتهام «اهانت به رهبری» به ۲ سال حبس و به اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» به یک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم کرده است.
با استناد به قوانین مربوط به تعدد جرم، تنها مجازات اشد، یعنی ۵ سال حبس تعزیری، قابل اجرا خواهد بود.
دادگاه همچنین به عنوان مجازات تکمیلی، جعفر حسنی را به دو سال منع خروج از کشور، شش ماه خدمات عمومی رایگان در شهرداری قزوین و ضبط تلفن همراه و سیم کارت به نفع دولت محکوم کرده است.
جعفر حسنی از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در قزوین است. حکم صادرشده بدوی بوده و ظرف ۲۰ روز پس از ابلاغ، قابل تجدیدنظرخواهی است.
