On August 5, 2023, Anis Mohammadi, the wife of Hossein Mahini, the former captain of Tehran's Persepolis football team, was summoned to Branch 5 of the Investigative Unit at the District 38 Court for Ethical Security Offenses in Tehran for questioning and the initiation of legal proceedings.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز شنبه ۱۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، انیس محمدی، همسر حسین ماهینی ـ کاپیتان اسبق تیم فوتبال پرسپولیس تهران، جهت بازپرسی و تشکیل پرونده قضایی به شعبه ۵ بازپرسی در دادسرای ناحیه ۳۸ جرائم امنیت اخلاقی تهران، احضار شد.
براساس ابلاغیه صادره توسط بازپرس شعبه ۵ دادسرای ناحیه ۳۸ تهران، مقرر شده تا انیس محمدی، ظرف مدت ۵ روز برای ارائه دفاعیات خود در برابر اتهامات (تولید، ارسال، توزیع و انتشار آثار مستهجن و مبتذل به وسیله سیستم های رایانه ای و مخابراتی) به آن دادسرا مراجعه کند.
لازم به اشاره است، با توجه به نوع اتهامات نسبت داده شده به انیس محمدی، وی باید از بابت فعالیت در فضای مجازی در مضان این اتهامات قرار گرفته باشد.
