His defense lawyer announced the filing of his client's request to appeal the verdict of execution in the Supreme Court. He emphasized that one day after being informed about Mr. Salehi's preliminary verdict, he was banned from begging and the in-person meetings of this prisoner were also restricted.
On Thursday, Farvardin 30th, 1403 (18th April 2024) the hearing of the charges against him was held in the first branch of Isfahan Revolutionary Court.
He was acquitted of the charges of spreading lies and inciting violent acts in a part of his case that was heard in the Criminal Court of Isfahan.
His sentence of one year imprisonment was confirmed by the Court of Appeal of Isfahan Province.
On Sunday 1st Bahman 1402 (21st 2024), during his interrogation session that was held in Isfahan General and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office. During this meeting, Mr. Salehi was charged with accusations such as being the deputy's deputy. A charge that can lead to heavy sentences including execution.
He is was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court to one year in prison, two years of passport cancellation and attending a behavior management and knowledge skills training course.
The spokesman of the judiciary informed about the explanation of the new charges against him and the setting of the bail regarding these charges.
