On 3 November 2022, Reza Ezzati, along with his family and two children, was heading to Behesht-e Sakineh when he was struck by pellet gunfire, resulting in severe injuries to his heart and eye. He has two children and operates a workshop producing disposable hats.
On this day, around 11:30 am, the Ezzati family arrived at Behesht-e Sakineh. There was heavy traffic on the streets leading to the cemetery, and people were not allowed entry. The Ezzati family stopped on the northern side of the highway, and Reza exited the vehicle to assess the situation. At this time, clashes between the public and officers intensified. Reza, witnessing the increase in gunfire, attempted to protect his children in the car and raised his hands to signal the officers not to shoot. However, the number of pellets directed at him increased.
Reza sustained serious injuries to his heart, underarm, and chest, underwent surgery to remove the pellets, and lost one of his eyes.
Regarding the legal proceedings of Reza Ezzati's case, it has been reported that the case was initially referred to the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in District 3 of Karaj and then sent to the Alborz Province Law Enforcement Command. The investigation was assigned to the Security Police Department, and after the investigation, the case was forwarded to the Special Crimes Prosecutor's Office in Karaj. Ultimately, the case was referred to the Military Prosecutor's Office of Alborz Province. Reports indicate that there is a lack of logical order and serious determination in addressing and resolving the victims' injuries.
در تاریخ 12 آبان 1401، رضا عزتی به همراه خانواده و دو فرزندش به بهشت سکینه می رفتند که هدف گلوله های ساچمه ای قرار گرفت و از ناحیه قلب و چشم دچار آسیب شدید شد. او دارای دو فرزند و کارگاهی برای تولید کلاه یک بار مصرف است.
در این روز، حدود ساعت 11 و نیم، خانواده عزتی به بهشت سکینه رسیدند. ترافیک سنگینی در خیابان های منتهی به این آرامستان وجود داشت و به مردم اجازه ورود داده نمی شد. خانواده عزتی در ضلع شمالی اتوبان توقف کردند و رضا از خودرو پیاده شد تا اوضاع را بررسی کند. در این هنگام، درگیری میان مردم و مأموران شدت گرفت. رضا که شاهد افزایش شلیک ها بود، تلاش کرد از فرزندانش در خودرو محافظت کند و دستانش را بالا برد تا به مأموران نشان دهد شلیک نکنند، اما تعداد ساچمه هایی که به سمت او روانه شد، بیشتر شد.
رضا از ناحیه قلب، زیر بغل و قفسه سینه دچار آسیب جدی شد و برای خارج کردن ساچمه ها تحت عمل جراحی قرار گرفت و یک چشم خود را از دست داد.
در مورد وضعیت پرونده دادخواهی رضا عزتی، گزارش شده است که ابتدا پرونده به دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب ناحیه 3 کرج ارجاع شد و سپس به ستاد فرماندهی فراجا استان البرز ارسال گردید. تحقیقات به معاونت پلیس امنیت محول شد و پس از انجام تحقیقات، پرونده به دادسرای رسیدگی به جرائم خاص کرج ارسال شد. در نهایت، پرونده به دادسرای نظامی استان البرز ارجاع داده شد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که در رسیدگی به پرونده آسیب دیدگان، نظم منطقی و عزم جدی برای شناخت و رفع آسیب ها وجود ندارد.
