مریم غواصی دانشجوی سال سوم ادبیات دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد و اهل شیراز و متولد ۱۶ بهمن ۱۳۷۸بود.
مریم غواصی از فعالان دانشجویی و از بازداشت شدگان آبان خونین ۹۸ در مشهد بود ، از اولین روزهای اعتراضات به قتل حکومتی مهسا امینی در خیابان حاضر بود و در آخر جان خود را در راه آزادی ایران سپرد.
وی در ۱۶ مهر ۱۴۰۱ در بلوار سجادیه مشهد در مشهد بر اثر شلیک مستقیم گلوله ماموران رژیم کشته شد.

A third-year literature student at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and a native of Shiraz, he/she was killed in Mashhad on 8 October 2022 (16 Mehr 1401) after being shot directly by government security forces.
Maryam Ghavasi, a third-year literature student at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, originally from Shiraz, was born on 5 February 2000. She was a student activist and had been detained during the protests in November 2019 in Mashhad. From the early days of the protests following the death of Mahsa Amini, she was present on the streets. Maryam Ghavasi lost her life in pursuit of freedom for Iran. On 8 October 2022, she was killed by direct gunfire from government forces on Sajjadieh Boulevard in Mashhad.
