سردار پورمیرزایی در تاریخ 18 دی 1404 توسط نیروهای سازمان اطلاعات سپاه بازداشت و پس از مدتی نگهداری در بازداشتگاه این نهاد، به زندان مرکزی ارومیه منتقل شد. او از سوی دادگاه انقلاب اسلامی ارومیه با اتهام «اقدام علیه امنیت ملی» محاکمه شد. سردار پورمیرزایی به دو سال حبس محکوم شده که 17 ماه از این حکم به حالت تعلیق درآمده است.

He was tried by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Urmia on charges of "acting against national security." Sardar Pourmirzaei was sentenced to two years in prison, with 17 months of the sentence suspended.
