سرتیپ جمشید فتحی مقدم فرمانده توپخانه لشکری لشکر پیاده گارد در زمان شاه بود. او پس از انقلاب بازداشت و به حکم دادگاه انقلاب به اعدام محکوم شد. در تاریخ ۱۷ بهمن ۱۳۵۸، زمانی که قرار بود همراه با چهار نفر دیگر اعدام شود، پیش از اجرای حکم با بریدن رگ خود در حمام اقدام به خودکشی کرد.

Brigadier General Jamshid Fathi Moghaddam, who served as the artillery commander of the Guard Infantry Division during the Shah's era, was arrested following the revolution. He was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court. On 1980-02-06, before the execution was to be carried out alongside four others, he attempted suicide by cutting his veins in the bathroom.
