According to Human Rights in Iran, on Monday, Farvardin 20, 1403 April 8, 2024 , Mehdi Fardin Hasani, born in 1355 1976 , married and father of two, a resident of Shahre Rey in Tehran Province, who was being held in Ward 4, Quarantine Section of Evin Prison, remains in a state of uncertainty more than 19 months after his arrest, under a temporary detention order.
It should be noted that Mehdi Hasani was arrested on Shahrivar 18, 1401 September 9, 2022 , after repeated summonses and interrogations by the Surveillance and Investigation Office of the Ministry of Intelligence in Tehran and Shahre Rey. He was apprehended while attempting to leave the country in Zanjan Province, then transferred to Tehran and held in Ward 209 of the Intelligence Ministry at Evin Prison. Following interrogation and formal charges filed at Branch 2 of the Prosecutors Office of District 33 in Tehran, he was transferred to Ward 4, Quarantine Section of the prison.
According to Human Rights in Iran, citing Mizan News Agency the official outlet of the Judiciary , at dawn on Sunday, Mordad 5, 1404 July 27, 2025 , Mehdi Fardin Hasani—the son of Hossein and a political prisoner held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj—was executed. These two political prisoners were executed despite being, as per the routine judicial procedures in Iran, denied the right to access a lawyer of their choice from the moment of their arrest.
In the report regarding the charges brought against Mehdi Fardin Hasani and Behrouz Behzad Ehsani Eslamloo, which led to the issuance and execution of their death sentences, it was claimed: “These two individuals were members of the Mojahedine Khalq Organization MKO , and were engaged in manufacturing launchers and handheld mortars, causing damage and casualties by indiscriminately firing projectiles at civilians, homes, service and administrative centers, as well as educational and charitable institutions. Their aim was to disrupt public order and the safety of innocent citizens.”
The report further claimed that the Judiciary's official news agency asserted that the legal proceedings were conducted fully in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code and stated: “According to the evidence in the case file, Mehdi Hasani had joined the Mojahedine Khalq Organization several years prior and was in contact with the groups operational liaisons.”
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز دوشنبه ۲۰ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۳، مهدی فردین حسنی، متولد: ۱۳۵۵، متاهل و دارای ۲فرزند، ساکن شهرری از توابع استان تهران، محبوس در اندرزگاه۴ بند قرنطینه زندان اوین، علیرغم گذشت بیش از ۱۹ ماه از تاریخ دستگیری با قرار بازداشت موقت در بلاتکلیفی است.
لازم به اشاره است، مهدی حسنی، در تاریخ ۱۸ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۱، پس از تداوم احضار و بازجویی در اداره نظارت و پیگیری وزارت اطلاعات در تهران و شهرری، هنگام خروج از کشور در استان زنجان، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به تهران و بند ۲۰۹ آن نهاد امنیتی در زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام در شعبه ۲ بازپرسی دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، تفهیم اتهام و به اندرزگاه ۴ بند قرنطبنه آن زندان منتقل شد.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به نقل از میزان، سحرگاه یکشنبه ۵ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، مهدی فردین حسنی ـ فرزند: حسین از زندانیان سیاسی محبوس در زندان قزلحصار کرج، اعدام شد. این ۲ زندانی سیاسی، در حالی اعدام شد که همواره و بر طبق روال جاری قضایی در ایران، از لحظه بازداشت، از حق دسترسی به وکیل مورد نظرش، محروم بود.
در این گزارش، پیرامون اتهامات منتسب شده به مهدی فردین حسنی و بهروز بهزاد احسانی اسلاملو که منجر به صدور اجرای احکام اعدام گردیده ادعا شد:”این ۲ فرد، از اعضای سازمان مجاهدین خلق منافقین بودند که اقدام به ساخت لانچر و خمپاره انداز دستی می کردند و با پرتابه های بی دقت به شهروندان، منازل، اماکن خدماتی و اداری، مراکز آموزشی و خیریه خسارت می زدند و تلفات می گرفتند؛ همچنین هدفشان برهم زدن نظم اجتماعی و امنیت شهر وندان بی گناه بود.”
در ادامه این گزارش، خبرگزاری قوه قضائیه روندی کاملا عادلانه منطبق با قانون آئین دادرسی کیفری، محاکمه شده است ادعا کرد:”طبق مستندات موجود در پرونده، مهدی حسنی از چندین سال قبل به عضویت سازمان مجاهدین خلق منافقین درآمده بود و با سرپل های عملیاتی این گروه در ارتباط بوده است.
