Pouran Nazemi was arrested by security forces in Mashhad on 12 December 2025 during the seventh-day ceremony for Khosrow Alikordi at Ghadir Mosque. On 4 February 2026, she was released on bail after undergoing interrogation and being charged, to continue her medical treatment.
On 26 September 2026, Pouran Nazemi's guarantor was summoned to the first branch of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court and was verbally informed of her sentence of a total of five years and nine months in prison. However, Pouran Nazemi and her lawyer have not had access to the verdict text. According to the information provided to the guarantor, the sentences include three years and nine months for "assembly and collusion against national and foreign security," one year and six months for "propaganda against the regime," and six months for "disrupting public order."
This civil activist was also detained by police officers on 1 February 2023 for unspecified reasons when she visited Mehrgan Hospital in Kerman to see her father. She was released shortly after. Pouran did not consent to surgery due to the absence of her family and lawyer at the hospital, and she was returned to the detention centre.
پوران ناظمی، در تاریخ ۲۱ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۴، در جریان برگزاری مراسم هفتم خسرو علیکردی، در مسجد غدیر مشهد، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در آن شهر، دستگیر شده بود. وی در خبری به تاریخ ۱۵بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۴، پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام برای ادامه روند درمانی بیماری اش با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد.
در ۴ مهر ۱۴۰۵، ضامن پوران ناظمی به شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب مشهد احضار شده و به صورت شفاهی از محکومیت او به مجموع پنج سال و ۹ ماه حبس مطلع شده بود. این در حالی است که پوران ناظمی و وکیلش به متن دادنامه دسترسی نداشته اند. بر اساس اطلاعات اعلام شده به ضامن، این احکام شامل سه سال و ۹ ماه حبس به اتهام «اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی و خارجی»، یک سال و ۶ ماه حبس به اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» و ۶ ماه حبس به اتهام «اخلال در نظم عمومی» بوده است.
این فعال مدنی، در تاریخ ۱۲ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۱ هم وقتی برای ملاقات پدر خود به بیمارستان مهرگان کرمان مراجعه کرده بود توسط ماموران نیروی انتظامی به دلایل نامشخصی بازداشت و چندی بعد آزاد شده بود. پوران به دلیل عدم حضور خانواده و وکیل در بیمارستان برای جراحی رضایت نداده است و او را دوباره به بازداشتگاه برگردانده اند.
