Zohreh Ghadimi, a former teacher and the mother of Abolfazl Joghtaei, a well-known environmental activist referred to as the "Green Son of Iran," has been involved in legal proceedings. The environmental activist stated that the initial accusation against the family was participating in a memorial ceremony for those killed in the protests of December 2025, an allegation that has been denied. All three individuals were released on bail in the early days of April, but Zohreh Ghadimi was summoned again in September and transferred to prison after new charges were brought against her.
Zohreh Ghadimi, born in 1981, is a graduate in Persian literature with a background in teaching and has worked as a secretary at a language institute. Her son has denied the security-related charges, stating that the majority of the case's evidence pertains to their private conversations, none of which were published in public with the intent of acting against national security.

این فعال محیط زیست گفته است که اتهام اولیه خانواده، شرکت در مراسم یادبود کشته شدگان اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ بوده؛ اتهامی که آن را رد کرده است. هر سه نفر در روزهای نخست فروردین ماه با سپردن وثیقه آزاد شدند، اما زهره قدیمی در شهریورماه بار دیگر احضار شد و پس از طرح اتهام های جدید به زندان انتقال یافت.
زهره قدیمی، متولد سال ۱۳۶۰، دانش آموخته ادبیات فارسی است که سابقه تدریس دارد و به عنوان منشی آموزشگاه زبان فعالیت می کرده است. فرزندش با رد اتهام های امنیتی اعلام کرده که بخش عمده مستندات پرونده به مکالمات خصوصی و دونفره آنان مربوط می شود و هیچ یک از این گفت وگوها با هدف اقدام علیه امنیت کشور در فضای عمومی منتشر نشده است.
