On 14 May 2025, Hossein Razagh, a civil and social media activist residing in Tehran, was arrested by security and law enforcement forces and transferred to an undisclosed location. Reports indicate that several plainclothes officers raided Razagh's home and initially attempted to break down the door. After the door was opened, he was severely beaten, resulting in blood on his clothing.
As of the time of this report, there is no information available regarding the security agency responsible for the arrest, the judicial process of the case, or Razagh's current condition.
This arrest occurred shortly after Razagh was released from Evin Prison on 11 June 2024, having completed his prison sentence. He had been sentenced to 74 lashes on 19 June 2024.
Another case against Razagh was initiated in June 2023 while he was incarcerated at Evin Prison. He was transferred to Branch 1 of the 33rd District Prosecutor's Office in Tehran, where he faced charges of "conspiracy and collusion," "propaganda against the system," and "actions against national security." He was later tried in absentia by the presiding judge of Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran and sentenced to 74 lashes in April 2024.
On 21 August 2022, Razagh was arrested by security forces in Amol, Mazandaran Province, and after being transferred to Evin Prison, he was moved to Branch 2 of the 33rd District Prosecutor's Office in Tehran on 10 September 2022. He faced charges of "conspiracy and collusion against the security of the system," "propaganda against the system for defending Baha'is," and "spreading falsehoods with the intent to disturb public opinion in cyberspace," with bail set at 1 billion tomans.
On 22 December 2021, Razagh was summoned to the Amol County Prosecutor's Office for an interrogation session. Additionally, on 21 December 2021, he received a phone call from the Ministry of Intelligence's follow-up department, summoning him to that security agency in Tehran.
On 5 December 2021, Razagh was arrested following a raid by Ministry of Intelligence agents at his home in Amol and was transferred for interrogation to the detention center of that security agency in Sari. After completing the interrogation process at Branch 3 of the Sari Prosecutor's Office, he was released on 15 December 2021 after posting bail of 2 billion tomans.
در تاریخ ۲۵ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۴، حسین رزاق، فعال مدنی و فضای مجازی ساکن تهران، توسط نیروهای امنیتی و انتظامی دستگیر و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که چند تن از ماموران لباس شخصی به منزل حسین رزاق یورش برده و در ابتدا در تلاش برای شکستن درب منزل بودند. پس از باز شدن درب، وی به شدت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفت و لباس او خون آلود شد.
تا زمان تنظیم این خبر، اطلاعاتی درباره نهاد امنیتی دستگیرکننده، روند قضایی پرونده و وضعیت حسین رزاق در دسترس نیست.
این دستگیری در حالی صورت گرفته که حسین رزاق در تاریخ ۲۲ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، پس از اتمام دوران حبس تعزیری خود از زندان اوین آزاد شده بود. وی در تاریخ ۳۰ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، به تحمل ۷۴ ضربه شلاق محکوم شده بود.
پرونده ای دیگر علیه حسین رزاق در خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، در زمان حبس او در زندان اوین تشکیل شد. وی به شعبه ۱ بازپرسی دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران منتقل و به اتهامات «اجتماع و تبانی»، «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» و «اقدام علیه امنیت ملی» تفهیم اتهام شد. وی چندی بعد به صورت غیابی توسط قاضی رئیس شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران محاکمه و در فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۳، به ۷۴ ضربه شلاق محکوم شد.
حسین رزاق در تاریخ ۳۰ مردادماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در شهر آمل از توابع استان مازندران بازداشت و پس از انتقال به زندان اوین، در تاریخ ۱۹ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۱، به شعبه ۲ بازپرسی دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران منتقل شد. وی به اتهامات «اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت نظام»، «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام به دلیل دفاع از بهاییان» و «نشر اکاذیب به قصد تشویش اذهان عمومی در فضای مجازی» تفهیم اتهام شد و وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱ میلیارد تومان برای او صادر گردید.
در تاریخ ۱ دی ماه ۱۴۰۰، حسین رزاق جهت حضور در جلسه بازپرسی به دادسرای شهرستان آمل احضار شده بود. همچنین، در تاریخ ۳۰ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۰، وی با دریافت تماس تلفنی از سوی اداره پیگیری وزارت اطلاعات به آن ارگان امنیتی در تهران احضار شده بود.
حسین رزاق در تاریخ ۱۴ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۰، در پی یورش ماموران وزارت اطلاعات به منزل شخصی اش در شهرستان آمل بازداشت و جهت بازجویی به بازداشتگاه این ارگان امنیتی در شهر ساری منتقل شد. پس از اتمام مراحل بازپرسی در شعبه ۳ دادسرای ساری، وی در تاریخ ۲۴ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۰، با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۲ میلیارد تومان آزاد گردید.
