On the evening of 28 September, security forces conducted a raid on the village of Kilekabud using several vehicles and full security equipment. They searched a family residence. When the individual was not found at home, the forces eventually arrested him on the road to Sharifava on 29 September.
Previously, Zanyar Moradi had been arrested by government forces in July 2021 and was held in solitary confinement at an intelligence detention centre for 97 days during interrogation.
نیروهای امنیتی شامگاه شنبه ۲۸ شهریور با چندین خودرو و تجهیزات کامل امنیتی به روستای کیلەکبود یورش برده و اقدام به تفتیش منزل خانوادگی وی نمودند. این نیروها پس از عدم حضور وی در منزل، نهایتاً روز یک شنبه ۲۹ شهریور او را در مسیر «شریف آوا» بازداشت کردند.
زانیار مرادی پیشتر نیز در تیرماه ۱۴۰۰ توسط نیروهای حکومتی بازداشت شده و به مدت ۹۷ روز در سلول های انفرادی بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات تحت بازجویی قرار داشته است.
