Pouria Javaheri was released on 20 November 2025. This resident of Kamyaran had gone on a hunger strike in January 2025 to protest his situation in prison.
In August 2024, his case was referred to the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj with various charges. These charges included armed rebellion through the intentional killing of a military personnel member, membership in opposition groups, propaganda activities against the regime, and the intentional assault of several military officers.
In late 2022, it was announced that the charge of armed rebellion had been brought against him. He was arrested on 29 November 2022 after being summoned to the Kamyaran IRGC intelligence office and was transferred to Kamyaran prison in late February 2023. In early September 2023, he was moved to Sanandaj prison.
پوریا جواهری در 20 آبان 1404 آزاد شد. این شهروند ساکن کامیاران در دی ماه 1403 در اعتراض به وضعیت خود در زندان اعتصاب کرده بود.
در مردادماه 1403، پرونده او با اتهامات مختلف به شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب سنندج ارجاع داده شد. این اتهامات شامل محاربه از طریق قتل عمدی یکی از پرسنل نظامی، عضویت در گروه های مخالف نظام، فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام و ضرب و جرح عمدی چند مأمور نظامی بود.
اواخر سال 1401، اعلام شده بود که اتهام محاربه علیه این شهروند مطرح شده است. او در 8 آذرماه 1401 پس از احضار به اطلاعات سپاه کامیاران بازداشت و اواخر بهمن ماه 1401 به زندان کامیاران منتقل شد. اوایل شهریورماه 1402، به زندان سنندج منتقل شد.
