As part of the plan to evacuate Gohardasht Prison, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, political prisoners Meysam Dehban Zadeh and Majid Roshan Nejad were transferred from Gohardasht Prison to Ward 4 of Greater Tehran Prison.
According to prison regulations, political prisoners Meysam Dehban Zadeh and Majid Roshan Nejad were supposed to be temporarily held and then transferred to Evin Detention Center. However, they were moved to Ward 4 of Greater Tehran Prison. The reason given for this transfer was "prison riot," and their charge was "disruption of prison order."
Political prisoner Meysam Dehban Zadeh was among those injured during the attack on prisoners in the Evin Prison fire incident. Following the transfer of several political prisoners from Evin to Gohardasht on October 16, 2022, a day after the fire at Evin, Meysam Dehban Zadeh was moved to solitary confinement in Ward 241 of Evin and subjected to torture and interrogation. He was later transferred to Gohardasht Prison.
Regarding political prisoners Meysam Dehban Zadeh and Majid Roshan Nejad, Meysam Dehban Zadeh was arrested in December 2020 and transferred to solitary confinement in Ward 209 of Evin Prison. After several months, he was released on bail, only to be re-arrested in February 2022 and transferred to Evin Prison to serve a 10-year sentence. His charges were announced as "assembly and collusion through contact with the People's Mojahedin Organization, disruption of public order, and propaganda against the regime."

به گزارش کانون حقوق بشر ایران، روز پنجشنبه ۴ خردادماه ۱۴۰۲، دو زندانی سیاسی میثم دهبان زاده و مجید روشن نژاد در تیپ چهار زندان تهران بزرگ توسط ماموران امنیتی به شدت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار شده و به بند جرائم عمومی منتقل شدند.
بر اساس این گزارش حال میثم دهبان زاده بسیار وخیم اعلام شده است.
از شدت جراحات میثم دهبان زاده و وضعیت کنونی این زندانی سیاسی اطلاعی در دست نیست.
در راستای طرح تخلیه زندان گوهردشت، در روز چهارشنبه ۱۳ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، زندانیان سیاسی میثم دهبان زاده، مجید روشن نژاد از زندان گوهردشت به تیپ ۴ زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شدند.
طبق قوانین زندان، زندانیان سیاسی میثم دهبان زاده و مجید روشن نژاد در بازداشت موقت بوده و باید به بازداشتگاه اوین منتقل می شدند. اما آنها را به تیپ ۴ زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل کردند.
بهانه و علت این انتقال «شورش در زندان» و اتهام آنها «اخلال در نظم زندان» عنوان شد.
زندانی سیاسی میثم دهبان زاده جزو مجروحین حمله به زندانیان در جریان آتش سوزی زندان اوین است.
پس از انتقال تعدادی از زندانیان سیاسی اوین به زندان گوهردشت که در تاریخ ۲۴ مهرماه ۱۴۰۱، یک روز پس از آتش سوزی مهیب در این زندان انجام گرفت، میثم دهبان زاده به انفرادی های بند ۲۴۱ اوین منتقل و تحت شکنجه و بازجویی قرار گرفت.
او را پس از چندی به زندان گوهردشت منتقل کردند.

زندانی سیاسی میثم دهبان زاده در آذرماه ۹۹ بازداشت و به سلول انفرادی ۲۰۹ زندان اوین منتقل شد. وی پس از چند ماه با وثیقه آزاد و مجددا در بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۰، دستگیر و جهت تحمل محکومیت ۱۰ساله به زندان اوین منتقل شد. اتهامات وی «اجتماع و تبانی از طریق ارتباط با مجاهدین خلق و اخلال در نظم عمومی و تبلیغ علیه نظام» اعلام شده است.
