In 1976, Ghiasvand went to England and joined the ranks of activists in the World Confederation in London. He was always at the forefront in organizing demonstrations, hunger strikes, and fundraising efforts.
Farhad completed his studies in printing in London in the summer of 1978 and returned to Iran to serve the people's struggles and advance the goals of the revolutionary organization. In Iran, he demonstrated the same remarkable spirit he was known for in London, tirelessly working towards the organization's objectives and the labor movement.
During the attack by the Islamic Republic regime on the members and supporters of the Party of the Toilers, Farhad was also caught and, along with hundreds of freedom-seeking youths, lost his life in the pursuit of democracy and social justice for the people of Iran.
