According to Human Rights in Iran, on the morning of Monday, September 11, 2023, Payam Bastani Parizi, a constitutionalist political activist and former political prisoner, was arrested by security agents and transferred to an unknown location.
A source close to the family of this citizen told the Human Rights in Iran reporter: "On the morning of Monday, more than 10 security agents raided the home of Payam Bastani Parizi's father, searched the house, confiscated some personal belongings, and then arrested him and transferred him to an unknown location."
As of the time of reporting, despite the follow-up by Payam Bastani Parizi's family, there is no information about his whereabouts, the identity of the security agency that arrested him, or the legal basis of the charges against him.
It is noteworthy that Payam Bastani Parizi was previously arrested by security forces on September 24, 2022, in connection with public protests in Tehran and was transferred to Greater Tehran Prison. He was released following the issuance of a pardon directive by the Judiciary on February 8, 2023.
Payam Bastani Parizi had previously been sentenced to imprisonment for his political and civil activities after being arrested and undergoing legal proceedings.
On Monday, December 25, 2023, Payam Bastani Parizi, held in Ward 4 of Evin Prison's quarantine section, will be tried by Iman Afshari, the judge of Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.
A knowledgeable source told the Human Rights in Iran reporter: "According to the notification sent to Payam Bastani Parizi, he must be transferred from Evin Prison to Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 25, 2023, to present his defense against charges of insulting the leadership, insulting sacred values, insulting Ruhollah Khomeini, assembly and collusion with the intent to disrupt internal and external security, propaganda against the regime, forming operational and combat groups with the intent to kill, promoting violence, teaching how to make Molotov cocktails, inciting street riots, connecting with hostile networks, and waging war against God."
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، صبح امروز دوشنبه ۲۰ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، پیام باستانی پاریزی، فعال سیاسی مشروطه خواه و از زندانیان سیاسی پیشین، توسط ماموران امنیتی، بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.
به نقل از یک فرد نزدیک به خانواده این شهروند در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”صبح امروز، دوشنبه بیش از ۱۰ مامور امنیتی با یورش به منزل پدر پیام باستانی باریزی و تفتیش منزل و توقیف برخی لوازم شخصی سپس وی را بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل کردند.”
تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، علیرغم پیگیری خانواده پیام باستانی پاریزی اما از مکان نگهداری، نام نهاد امنیتی بازداشت کننده و از مصادیق حقوقی اتهام یا اتهام منتسب شده به وی اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به ذکر است، پیام باستانی پاریزی، در تاریخ آقای باستانی در تاریخ ۲ مهرماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در ارتباط با اعتراضات مردمی در تهران بازداشت و به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شده بود و با توجه به ابلاغ بخشنامه عفو بخشش قوه قضائیه در تایخ ۱۹ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۱، آزاد شده بود.
پیام باستانی پاریزی، پیشتر هم به سبب فعالیتهای سیاسی و مدنی خود پس از بازداشت و طی مراحل دادرسی به حبس حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز دوشنبه ۴ دی ماه ۱۴۰۲ پیام باستانی پاریزی، محبوس در اندرزگاه ۴ بند قرنطینه زندان اوین، توسط ایمان افشاری ـ قاضی شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، محاکمه خواهد شد.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”با توجه ابلاغیه ای که برای پیام باستانی پاریزی، ارسال شده این فرد باید ساعت ۱۰ صبح روز دوشنبه ۴ دی ماه ۱۴۰۲، از زندان اوین به شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، برای ارائه دفاعیات خود در برابر اتهامات توهین به رهبری ، توهین به مقدسات ، توهین به روح الله خمینی ، اجتماع وتبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت داخلی وخارجی ، تبلیغ علیه نظام ، تشکیل گروه های عملیاتی و مبارزاتی به قصد کشتار ، ترویج خشونت ، آموزش ساخت کوکتل مولوتوف ، دعوت به اغتشاشات خیابانی ، ارتباط با شبکه های معاند نظام و محاربه اعزام شود
