محمدرضا کامرانی نژاد، فعال مدنی و شهروند ساکن تهران، در شهریور ۱۴۰۲ بازداشت و پس از مدتی با تودیع وثیقه از زندان اوین آزاد شد. گزارش شده است که او بعدها توسط دادگاه انقلاب به اتهامات امنیتی و سیاسی به ۶ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم و برای اجرای حکم احضار شد.
