Soheil Faghih Nasiri and other artists have been sentenced to flogging and restrictions. Soheil Faghih Nasiri, a guitarist and member of the "Caravanserai Concert" project, along with Parastoo Ahmadi and other musicians involved in the performance, have faced severe judicial rulings. According to a verdict issued by the Criminal Court of Qom Province, Parastoo Ahmadi and eight others involved in the "Caravanserai Concert" have each been sentenced to 74 lashes, a two-year travel ban, and a two-year prohibition from artistic activities. The charge against these artists has been described as "offending public decency through the production and dissemination of indecent and immoral content on social media." This case relates to the release of a video of the "Caravanserai Concert" on 12 December 2024. The performance, which featured Parastoo Ahmadi without mandatory hijab alongside a group of musicians, including Ehsan Birkdar, Soheil Faghih Nasiri, Amin Taheri, and Amirali Pirnia, was published on her YouTube channel. The video received widespread attention and was extensively shared on social media.
