علیرضا نجاتی، قهر مان کشتی فرنگی جهان و ورزشکار دارای سابقه حضور در مسابقات المپیک، در تاریخ ۲۰ دی ماه در شهر قم و در محل کار خود توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی بازداشت شد.
وی در بازداشتگاه وزارت اطلاعات نگهداری می شود.
علیرضا نجاتی در جریان خیزش ملی ۱۴۰۱ به دلایل سیاسی از تیم ملی کشتی ایران کنار گذاشته شد.

Alireza Nejati, a world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling and an Olympic athlete, was arrested on 10 January 2026 in Qom at his workplace by forces of the Islamic Republic. He is currently being held in the Ministry of Intelligence detention center. Previously, he was removed from Iran’s national team during the 2022 nationwide uprising for political reasons.
