On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Araz Ebrahimnejad, a national civil activist residing in Tabriz, the capital of East Azerbaijan Province, was tried by the judge of Branch 2 of the Tabriz Revolutionary Court. It is noteworthy that on January 10, 2025, he was summoned to Branch 15 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Tabriz and presented his final defense to the investigator of the mentioned branch before the indictment was issued.
Araz Ebrahimnejad was also arrested on September 13, 2023, by agents of the General Directorate of Intelligence of East Azerbaijan Province. He was transferred to the detention center of that security agency for the formation of a judicial case and subsequently moved to Tabriz Central Prison. Despite the completion of interrogations, he remained in a state of uncertainty. However, on December 9, 2023, he was released after posting bail valued at 500 million tomans.

روز سه شنبه ۱۳ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، آراز ابراهیم نژاد، این فعال ملی مدنی، ساکن شهر تبریز مرکز استان آذربایجان شرقی، توسط قاضی شعبه ۲ دادگاه انقلاب تبریز، محاکمه شد. لازم به ذکر است، در تاریخ ۲۰ دی ماه ۱۴۰۳، وی به شعبه ۱۵ بازپرسی دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب تبریز، احضار و دفاعیات نهایی، پیش از تنطیم کیفرخواست را به بازپرس شعبه مذکور ارائه کرده بود.
آراز ابراهیم نژاد هم در تاریخ ۲۲ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط ماموران اداره کل اطلاعات استان آذربایجان شرقی، دستگیر و برای تشکیل پرونده قضایی به بازداشتگاه آن نهاد امنیتی منتقل و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها به زندان مرکزی تبریز منتقل و علیرغم اتمام بازجویی ها در بلاتکلیفی بسر برد اما در تاریخ ۱۸ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲، با تودیع قرار وثیقه ای به ارزش ۵۰۰ میلیون تومان، آزاد شد.
