امیرسام رحیمیان روز جمعه ۱۹ دی ماه در تهران بازداشت و به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شده است.
بر اساس گزارش های دریافتی اتهام مطرح شده علیه وی «تخریب اموال عمومی» عنوان شده است. با این حال نزدیکان او این اتهام را بی اساس دانسته و اعلام کرده اند که او هنوز دادگاهی نشده.
