Mohammad-Amin Mandani, a political-security detainee arrested in connection with the war, was arrested in Farvardin 1405 (March 21–April 20, 2026) by security and law-enforcement forces at his home. Following a search of his residence and the confiscation of certain belongings, including his mobile phone, he was transferred to a detention facility in Tehran. After undergoing interrogation and subsequently appearing before an investigating magistrate, he was formally informed of the charges against him by the investigating magistrate of Branch 3 of the Tehran Judicial Prosecutor’s Office and transferred to Evin Prison. However, in Khordad 1405 (May 22–June 21, 2026), he was transferred without prior notice to Greater Tehran Prison.
According to the verdict issued by Judge Iman Afshari, head of Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, Mohammad-Amin Mandani was sentenced to death on the charge of “espionage and cooperation with hostile governments by sending the coordinates of sensitive military and security areas to the enemy during wartime.”
He was also sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment for the charges of “assembly and collusion,” “propaganda activities against the system,” and “encouraging others to engage in war and killing with the intention of disrupting the country’s security.”
محمدامین ماندنی، از بازداشت شدگان مرتبط با جنگ، متهم سیاسی ـ امنیتی، در فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۵، توسط ماموران امنیتی ـ انتظامی در منزل خود، دستگیر و پس از تفتیش و توقیف برخی لوازم از قبیل گوشی تلفن همراه اش به بازداشتگاهی در تهران، منتقل و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و سپس بازپرسی، توسط بازپرس شعبه ۳ دادسرای ناحیه ۳ قضایی تهران، تفهیم اتهام و به زندان اوین، منتقل شد اما در خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۵، بدون اعلام قبلی به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شد.
براساس دادنامه صادره توسط قاضی ایمان افشاری ـ رئیس شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران؛ محمدامین ماندنی، از بابت اتهام «جاسوسی و همکاری با دولتهای متخاصم از طریق ارسال مختصات مناطق نظامی و امنیتی حساس به دشمن در زمان جنگ» به اعدام و از بابت اتهامات «اجتماع و تبانی»، «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام»، «دعوت سایرین به جنگ و کشتار به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور» هم به ۲۰ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است.
