سکینه احمدی به همراه پسر و دختر خردسال خود مسافر پرواز شماره PS752 هواپیمایی بین المللی اوکراین بود. در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۳۹۸، این هواپیما که در حال انجام یک پرواز برنامه ریزی شده از تهران به کی یف بود، اندکی پس از برخاستن توسط موشک های پدافند هوایی سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی ایران هدف قرار گرفت و تمامی ۱۷۶نفر سرنشین آن جان باختند.
