Dr. Firouz Naeimi, a physician from Hamadan, was born on 2 October 1935 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. He studied medicine at Mashhad University and, after graduating, moved to Hamadan. In Hamadan, he served as the Director General of the Malaria Eradication Department and played a significant role in controlling malaria in the province.
On 9 August 1980, Dr. Naeimi was arrested at his workplace and transferred to the Revolutionary Court along with five other Baha'is. After interrogations, they were released on 11 August of the same year, but were re-arrested the following day. The detained Baha'is were moved to the police prison and held under harsh conditions.
After four and a half months, Dr. Naeimi and his companions were transferred to the political ward, and their trial commenced. Dr. Naeimi's court sessions were held in private, and he was denied legal representation. Ultimately, on 13 June 1981, Dr. Naeimi and six other Baha'is were taken from prison, and in the early hours of 14 June 1981, their bodies were found in front of the entrance of Imam Khomeini Hospital in Hamadan.
The bodies showed signs of torture before execution. Dr. Firouz Naeimi's assets, including his private practice and car, were confiscated, and his bank accounts were frozen.
دکتر فیروز نعیمی، پزشک همدانی، در تاریخ ۱۰مهر ۱۳۱۴ در عشق آباد ترکمنستان به دنیا آمد. او در رشته پزشکی دانشگاه مشهد تحصیل کرد و پس از فارغ التحصیلی به همدان رفت. در همدان، او به عنوان مدیر کل اداره ریشه کنی مالاریا فعالیت کرد و در کنترل بیماری مالاریا در استان همدان نقش مهمی داشت.
در تاریخ ۱۸ مرداد ۱۳۵۹، دکتر نعیمی در محل کارش بازداشت شد و به همراه پنج بهایی دیگر به دادگاه انقلاب منتقل شد. پس از بازجویی ها، در تاریخ ۲۰ مرداد همان سال آزاد شدند، اما یک روز بعد دوباره بازداشت شدند. بهاییان بازداشت شده به زندان شهربانی منتقل شدند و در شرایط سختی نگهداری شدند.
پس از چهار ماه و نیم، دکتر نعیمی و دوستانش به بند سیاسی منتقل شدند و محاکمه آن ها آغاز شد. جلسات دادگاه دکتر نعیمی غیرعلنی بود و او از داشتن وکیل محروم بود. در نهایت، در تاریخ ۲۳ خرداد ۱۳۶۰، دکتر نعیمی و شش بهایی دیگر از زندان خارج شدند و در بامداد ۲۴ خرداد ۱۳۶۰، اجساد آن ها در مقابل ورودی بیمارستان امام خمینی همدان پیدا شد.
اجساد نشان می داد که آن ها پیش از اعدام شکنجه شده بودند. دارایی های دکتر فیروز نعیمی، از جمله مطب شخصی و اتومبیل، مصادره شد و حساب های بانکی او توقیف گردید.
