A political prisoner held in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison. He was also sentenced, as supplementary punishments, to two years of exile from his birthplace, two years of being banned from online activity, two years of being prohibited from leaving the country, and two years of being denied a passport.

Mahmoud Mehrabi, a political prisoner held in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan, has been sentenced by the court to a total of 10 years in prison along with several additional penalties. Reports indicate that despite nearly three months since his arrest, he remains in detention without resolution.

Mehrabi's case has been sent to the first branch of the prosecutor's office in Mobarakeh County. It has also been reported that he suffers from a hernia rupture and is deprived of appropriate medical care.

This individual was first arrested by security forces in Isfahan on 1 February 2023 and was released on bail on 16 March 2023. He was re-arrested at his home in Isfahan hours later.

Before his arrest, Mahmoud Mehrabi worked in the electricity sector and had a history of arrest and conviction. On 22 July 2023, his temporary detention order was extended for the fourth time. Reports suggest that he is facing more than 50 private complaints.

On 31 July 2022, Mahmoud Mehrabi was suddenly transferred to a hospital for hernia surgery without his family's knowledge and was returned to prison after the operation.

محمود مهرابی، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان دستگرد اصفهان، به حکم دادگاه به مجموعاً ۱۰ سال حبس و چندین مجازات تکمیلی محکوم شده است. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که او علیرغم گذشت نزدیک به سه ماه از زمان دستگیری همچنان در بازداشت و بلاتکلیفی به سر می برد.

پرونده محمود مهرابی به شعبه اول بازپرسی شهرستان مبارکه ارسال شده است. همچنین گزارش شده است که او از پارگی فتق رنج می برد و از رسیدگی پزشکی مناسب محروم است.

این شهروند برای اولین بار در تاریخ ۱۲ بهمن ۱۴۰۱ توسط نیروهای امنیتی در اصفهان بازداشت و در تاریخ ۲۵ اسفند با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد. او ساعاتی بعد مجدداً در منزل شخصی خود در اصفهان بازداشت شد.

محمود مهرابی پیش از بازداشت در حوزه برق فعالیت می کرد و سابقه بازداشت و محکومیت نیز داشته است. در تاریخ 31 تیر 1402، حکم بازداشت موقت او برای چهارمین بار تمدید شد. گزارش ها نشان می دهند که او با بیش از ۵۰ شاکی خصوصی مواجه است.

در تاریخ 9 مرداد ۱۴۰۱، محمود مهرابی به صورت ناگهانی و بدون اطلاع خانواده برای انجام عمل فتق به بیمارستان منتقل و پس از عمل جراحی به زندان بازگردانده شد.
