Roya Eshraghi was executed in Shiraz on June 18, 1983.

Enayatollah Eshraghi and Ezzat Janami were born in Najafabad, Isfahan. After completing military service, Enayatollah was employed by the oil company. The couple married in 1947. Following the birth of their second child, the family moved to Kazeroon and then to Shiraz in 1957. Roya, their fourth child, was born in Shiraz in 1960 and completed her primary education in Shiraz and Torbat Heydarieh.

In 1978, Roya was admitted to the veterinary program at Pahlavi University in Shiraz, prompting the family to return to Shiraz. However, the family's peace was disrupted when Enayatollah's pension was cut, and Roya was expelled from the university due to her Bahá'í faith. During this period, executions and arrests of Bahá'ís began in Iran, and properties belonging to the Bahá'í community in Shiraz were seized.

On 26 November 1981, Revolutionary Guard officers raided the Eshraghi residence, arresting Enayatollah, Ezzat, Roya, and Rezita, along with two guests. They were released after three days. On 29 November 1982, officers raided Bahá'í homes in Shiraz, arresting 41 Bahá'í citizens, including Roya and her parents.

The Eshraghi family was transferred to Adelabad Prison, where interrogations focused on repentance and renouncing their faith. Enayatollah refused to post bail, stating he would not accept freedom without his wife and daughter.

In court, Bahá'ís were confronted with the choice of "Islam or execution," and the Eshraghi family accepted the death sentence. On 12 June 1983, the Attorney General announced the commencement of a repentance process, requiring Bahá'ís to pass through four stages of guidance.

On 16 June 1983, Enayatollah Eshraghi, along with five other Bahá'í prisoners, was executed. Two days later, Ezzat Janami and Roya Eshraghi, along with eight other Bahá'í women, were executed. Following these events, the Eshraghi family home was confiscated and demolished in 1992. A new building named "Delta" has been constructed on the site.
