On January 8, 2011, along with thirty-three grieving mothers (a group of families of victims of executions and repression from the 1980s to the present), she was arrested in Laleh Park and released after a few days. She was arrested again on June 12, 2011, in Tehran and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison. After a month, she was temporarily released on bail until the court hearing. On December 7, 2011, Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced her to four and a half years in prison for assembly and collusion against the regime through forming the group of grieving mothers and propaganda against the regime, but she was not imprisoned.

Mansoureh Behkish, an Iranian human rights activist, was released in Tehran on 20 May 2026. She had been arrested on 18 May 2026. Her legal challenges have been ongoing for several years. In February 2018, she was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for charges including "propaganda against the state" and "collusion against the country". This sentence was in addition to a previous four and a half year sentence from 2011 for "assembling and conspiring with the intent to harm national security" and "propaganda against the system".

Behkish's legal issues date back to 8 January 2011, when she was arrested along with thirty-three grieving mothers in Laleh Park. منصوره بهکیش، فعال حقوق بشر ایرانی، در تاریخ 30 اردیبهشت 1405 در تهران آزاد شد. او در تاریخ 28 اردیبهشت 1405 بازداشت شده بود. چالش های حقوقی او چندین سال است که ادامه دارد. در بهمن 1396، او به اتهاماتی از جمله "تبلیغ علیه نظام" و "تبانی علیه کشور" به هفت سال و نیم زندان محکوم شد. این حکم علاوه بر حکم قبلی چهار سال و نیم زندان از سال 1390 بود که به دلیل "اجتماع و تبانی با قصد برهم زدن امنیت ملی" و "تبلیغ علیه نظام" صادر شده بود.

مشکلات حقوقی بهکیش به تاریخ 18 دی 1389 بازمی گردد، زمانی که او به همراه سی و سه مادر داغدار در پارک لاله بازداشت شد. این افراد بخشی از گروهی از خانواده های قربانیان اعدام ها و سرکوب های دهه 1360 تا کنون بودند. او پس از چند روز آزاد شد اما در تاریخ 22 خرداد 1390 در تهران دوباره بازداشت و به بند 209 زندان اوین منتقل شد. پس از یک ماه، او به طور موقت با وثیقه آزاد شد تا زمان برگزاری دادگاه. در تاریخ 16 آذر 1390، شعبه 15 دادگاه انقلاب تهران او را به چهار سال و نیم زندان به اتهام اجتماع و تبانی علیه نظام از طریق تشکیل گروه مادران داغدار و تبلیغ علیه نظام محکوم کرد، هرچند در آن زمان به زندان نرفت.
