وی با مدرک فوق لیسانس فیزیک که به عنوان آموزگار دبیرستان فعالیت می کرد. به دلیل فعالیت های سیاسی در زمان حکومت پیشین از تدریس محروم شد.
از اعضای قدیمی چریک های فدایی خلق و مسئول کمیته های مقاومت سازمان (اقلیت) پس از انقلاب بود.
در شهریور ۱۳۶۲ در درگیری خیابانی یا پس از دستگیری و شکنجه کشته شد. پیکر او در خاوران دفن شده است.

Zahra was arrested in her home on September 23, 1983 and committed suicide with cyanide pills. According to some reports, she was rescued and later died under torture. Her family says she was buried in the Khavaran cemetery.
An individual with a master's degree in physics, who worked as a high school teacher, was barred from teaching due to political activities during the previous government. This person was a long-standing member of the Fedai Guerrillas and was responsible for the resistance committees of the Organisation (Minority) after the revolution. In September 1983, the individual was killed either in a street confrontation or following arrest and torture. The body was buried in Khavaran.
