In late July 1982, an individual, along with their spouse Mehran Shahabeddin and brother Roozbeh, was arrested at a relative's home and transferred to Evin Prison. Following interrogation and torture, the individual was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
On 9 December 1987, the individual passed away in Evin Prison. Reports indicate that the person committed suicide under severe psychological and physical pressure. Some sources have described the incident as a "death in custody" or linked it to the executions of the 1980s.
